Dbacks Win Baseball Game, Lose Rock-Skipping Competition to Mets

The game started out with 47 straight balls from the Mets' pitcher, many travelling either 45' or 85'. Dbacks hitters got their powerwalk on and were quickly up a bunch.
Despite having a 24-man roster, only 11 players showed up for this Friday night game, including veteran Andy Pettite, who has joined the team mid-season due to being old balls. Pettite started the game at 1B and eventually big-leagued his way into the OF for the last inning. No one knows how this happened, but one player-coach was quoted as saying "Fuckin' Kennedy".
Steve Medaglia was lauded by teammates for being the only player to not record a hit this game. Steve was quoted as saying "Someone's gotta move this along so we can get to the bar early." What a champion.
