WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES For Mounties!
Posted June 23, 2013
From playing 3
games on Saturday and being at the park for 11 hours. The Mounties found
out what a difference a day can make as they defeated the Kamloops Riverdogs by
a 16 - 0 score on Sunday in 1 hour and 24 minutes in their shortest game
of the year.
The Mounties did their damage in the odd
innings scoring 12 in the first and 4 in the third. The Mounties had 9
hits in the game as the Mounties played long ball with Currie, Quito
and Hogan each sending balls out of Nanaimo Park.
With that Victory the Mounties clinched at
least a 7th place finish and a Provincial spot as Nanaimo, Okanagan,
Burnaby, Kamloops, Victoria Red, Victoria Black, and North Island are
mathematically unable to surpass the Mounties.
