Auburn Flyers' Kari Koch Break WBCBL 3-Point Record

Auburn Flyers completed an undefeated region schedule (6-0) and a perfect 7-0 on the season by defeating the Georgia-Lina Hurricanes on the road in Augusta, GA.
After leading by the score of 41-26 at half time, the Flyers outscored the Hurricanes 33-20 in the third quarter! From there they maintained the lead and completed the win by outscoring the Hurricanes by 6 (29-23) in the final period.
The Hurricanes were lead in scoring by Shay Rawls (21 pts), Sherika Wright (15 pts) Crystal Davis (15 pts).The Flyers had four players score in double digits. Morgan Jennings (12 pts), Whitney Houston (24 pts), Reneisha Hobbs (11 pts).
The Flyers’ Kari Koch made 10 three-point baskets
(10-11), setting a new WBCBL record for most 3 pointers made in a single game! The
previous WBCBL record (9) was held be the Dallas Diesel’s Jill Duffey. Koch
finished the game with 38 points in a 103-69 win over the Georgia-Lina
Hurricanes..
