Frogs fall to Marshall

The Bird Island Bullfrogs lost to the Marshall A's in the bottom of the 9th.

The Frogs got off to the early lead, scoring 1 run in the 1st Inning when Dylan Gass scored on a single by Elliot Serbus.

The Frogs added to their lead, scoring 3 runs in the 3rd inning. Dylan Gass and Shawn Dollerschell on a double by Mark Neubauer. Neubauer then scored on a single by Elliot Serbus.

The A's got on the board scoring 2 runs on a two out double in the 5th inning. The A's added on more in the 6th...and tied the game at 4-4 by scoring a run in the bottom of the 7th.

Bird Island regained the lead, scoring a run in the top of the 8th. Jake Marcus scored on a single by Dylan Gass.

The Marshall A's came back, scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th

The loss ended the cornbelt schedule for both teams. The Bullfrogs finished with a 7-5 cornbelt record and have the 4th seed in the upcoming playoffs.
