Outlaws take 2!
Posted July 26, 2013
The Outlaws took on the Stallions Thursday night in a double dip at Cairns..
The first game saw the Outlaws jump out to a 6 nothing lead in the bottom of the 1st. That proved to be all that Frenchy needed as he pitched his second consecutive shutout allowing 3 hits against a strong Stallion lineup.
The offense was led by Dunner going 3 for 3 at lead off including a walk. After the strong first that is as much as the Outlaws needed as Frenchy shut the door.
A 3 hit shutout against the Stallions?pretty easy to see who the player of the game was here but honorable mention to Dunner for leading the offense going 3 for 3.
The second game saw Bess take the mound. After a quick 3 runs by the Stallions, the Outlaws chipped away and fought back with a huge 7 run 3rd.At this point it was 9 to 3 for the Outlaws but the Stallions proved that lead didnt mean much and made it 9 to 8 after 4. Bess got the win again as Blaker came in and shut the door .
Freezy led the way in the nightcap going 2 for 3 with 5 RBI. Vogel was 4 for 4 wih 2 RBI ,and Dunner had 3 more hits going 3 for 5..
next action is next wednesday at cairns at 6 30!
