Dbacks beat 'Cocks 9-0

This game did not live up to the usual DBacks/GameCocks matchup, as the 'Cocks were short a few players and had to recruit through the "Looking For" section of Kijiji.

Gayef started the game and proceeded to throw a 3-hit shutout with 9Ks.  One of those hits was a broken-bat single up the middle by Jon Higgins.  The hit was said to be greasier than a Paul Pierce spin-move deep-fried in bacon.

The Dbacks infield looked super shaky to start the game, fortunately the with hustle of the OF Flow behind the dish the Dbacks were able to catch one of the greedy 'Cocks trying to take two on an overthrow.  Just how we drew it up.

Midway through the game, the Gamecocks' first base coach was quietly ejected for chewing tobacco, which is apparently not allowed in Little League.  Entire DBacks infield promptly spits out their chew.

After pimping a walk, the umpire calls delayed strike on Kraus when he's halfway down the 3rd baseline.  He walks on the next pitch, and carefully reconsiders flipping his bat and gently lowered it to the ground instead.

Other notables:
- Gonzo showed he's human by recording a sub-.750 batting average.  
- Gayef walks 1 batter, the 9-hole who didn't take the bat off his shoulder.  Kennedy is visibly upset.
- 'Cocks supplied mush balls for the game, effectively stealing 1 hit away from the 'Cocks and 17 from the DBacks.  Well-played.
