Outlaws come up short

Posted July 31, 2013

The Outlaws took on the Diggers on Wednesday night at Cairns. Gimmer took the bump and pitched 5 strong, and Frenchy came in and took over in the 6th. It was a game that seemed like it may break open any minute but it never did, and although the bats were strong again, the hits didnt seem to come at the right times and the boys came up short in the end. A tough loss but another good effort showing there is no quit in this team.

Gimmer led the way on offense going 3 for 4  , Freezy and Palmer had 2 hit nights as well , and the team combined for 12 hits in total.

Next action is next wednesday Aug 7th at 9 at cairns.
