Royals Sweep Outlaws

The Outlaws and Royals did battle in Marysburg yesterday.  The first game saw a great pitchers duel between the Royals Eric Bollefer and the Outlaws Marc Lepage.  Both pitchers through complete games with the Royals coming out on top by a score of 2-1.  The Royals defense played great and the got a some timely hits to score the runs.  The second game saw Brent Puetz make his debut on the mound and after giving up three runs in the top of the first he settled in.  The Royals bats came alive and capitalized on some Outlaw errors winning the game 14-3.  The Royals are now 18-4 in league play and have officially clinched the league pennant!  Next action for the Royals is Tuesday at 9pm against the Stallions!!
