Outlaws keep Marysburg streak alive!
Posted August 19, 2013
For years the Outlaws have limped into Marysburg for the Sunday double dip with barely enough to field a team. 2013 proved no different with 10 guys making the trip, including the 2 midget kids Ben and Rhett.
The first game saw Frenchee pitch a solid game, only to have no run support from the offense. Marysburg took it 2 to 1 and the boys made it interesting in the 7th but came up short.
The second game started well with offense jumping out to a 3 run lead in the first. Ben pitched well however the boys decided he should have to get 4 or 5 outs an inning instead of 3. Too many routine plays werent made, and in the end this led to a few long Marysburg rallies. The end result was a 14 to 3 drubbing at the hands of the Royals in 5 innings.
Reaser led the offense on the day hitting the ball hard in both games.
next action is Monday Aug 19th at 6 30 at Cairns against the Jays.
