McT traveled to Theodore on Tuesday night in the season opener and dropped the game 53-47.  The Yellow Jackets trailed at halftime 23-31 and stayed in the game despite Junior standout Dylan Smith sitting most of the first half after picking up 3 fouls in the first quarter.  To open the third the Yellow Jackets bounced back and won the third period 10 -4 and led by two with 5 minutes remaining in the game.  Despite gutsy play the Yellow Jackets could not hold turning the ball over on the next 5 possessions.  The Yellow Jackets turned the ball over 25 times on the night and could not recover from their mistakes.  The Jackets were led by TJ Lang with 19 and Dylan Smith with 12.  The Yellow Jackets are now 0-1.
