Parachoniak No-Hits Langenburg
Posted May 18, 2014
Thursday, May 15 was a night to remember in Langenburg as Colby Parachoniak brought the heat and pounded the zone as he went the distance in a 2-0 no-hit victory over the Langenburg Indians. He was in control the entire evening recording five strikeouts, six flyouts, and ten groundouts. Parachoniak recorded four walks, but no Indian baserunner made it passed second base.
The Supers only recorded six hits, but luckily four were in the top of the first inning as they scored both of their runs. Kody Rock led the way offensively with a single, an rbi double and a run scored. Derek Palagian also had a multi-hit game with two singles. Also making the stats sheet was Greg Andreychuk with a single and a stolen base; Dylan Toffan with an rbi single and Evan Rostotski with a run scored.
With the victory, the Supers record inproves to 2-0 on the season. The next game will be on Tuesday, May 20 as the two time defending SESBL Champion Yorkton Yankees pay a visit to Al Sapieha Field for a 6:15 contest.
