Royals defeat Outlaws
Posted May 23, 2014
The Royals defeated the Outlaws by a score of 4-1 on Thursday night. For being so early in the year the Royals looked sharp in all aspects of the game. Offensively the Royals did all the little things right and got some clutch two out rbi hits to push their four runs across. In total the Royals had nine hits with Cole Bauml leading the way with a pair. Dean Jaeb started on the hill for the Royals and looked good throwing three scoreless innings. Eric Bollefer came in in relief and threw the final four innings giving up only one unearned run for his second win of the year. The Royals did make two errors but our pitchers did a fantastic job at not letting the errors hurt us with some key strikeouts. Next action for the Royals is a doubleheader on Sunday in Marysburg against the Dodgers. First game begins at 1pm.
