Royals Sweep Dodgers

The Royals had their home opener doubleheader yesterday in Marysburg against the Dodgers. Paul Strueby started game one on the mound for the Royals throwing a complete game and getting the win by a score of 15-4. The Royals bats were big with twelve hits. Braden Bauml led the way with three of those hits. The Royals defense in this game was not good making five errors. However, Paul battled threw and the bats bailed us out.
The second game saw the Royals win by a score of 10-3. Brett Yarskie made his return after two years and threw 5 complete innings giving up only two runs too get the win. Luke Strueby threw the final two innings. The defense was way better not making any errors at all. The bats were hot once again with the Royals pounding out ten hits. Cole Bauml led the way with two big flies and six rbis. The Royals record is now 4-0 and they have an early season first place showdown with the Stallions this wednesday at 9pm.
