Parachoniak allowed no hits with three strikeouts in his two innings of work. No Stars baserunner made it to second base on the evening.
The offence was able to take advantage of a couple of Stars miscues in the first and third innings to take a 2-0 lead. After scoring a run in the 4th and 5th innings, the Supers erupted for three runs in the bottom of the sixth to put the game out of reach. Zach Rakochy made his season debut, and went 2 for 3 with two runs scored, two rbi's and a stolen base to lead the Supers offence. Greg Andreychuk was one for two with a walk, two runs scored and two stolen bases. Travis Mentanko had a single and a walk, while Kory Achtymichuk had his first hit as a Super with an infield single in the bottom of the sixth. Adam Korb also chipped in with an rbi single.
