Outlaws slide to 2-5
Posted June 2, 2014
The Outlaws took on the Stallions on Sunday in hopes of redeeming themselves from a bad loss earlier in the week to the same club. Unfortunately things did not go as planned and the Outlaws suffered their second straight thumping at the hands of the Stallions.
Catlin took the bump and pitched 4 innings with not much help from his defense. He threw strikes and put the ball in play, however some ugly defense put the Outlaws down 6 after 3. Brandon came in relief and threw 2 innings allowing 2 runs. Once again the result of routine plays that need to be made. Add some dormant bats into the equation and the end result was an 8 to 1 loss.
Next action is tonight against the Diggers at 6 30 at Cairns.
