Bollefer tosses a no no!
Posted June 25, 2014
Eric Bollefer tossed a no hitter against the Stallions last night as the Royals defeated them by a score of 7-0. Bollefer was in command the entire game walking only two guys and hitting one. He only allowed one runner to get to second base all night....on a pass ball. It was the third no hitter in the last twenty years as Bollefer joins Murray Bauml and Brett Yarskie in the no no group. The defense was solid behind him making no errors once again. A couple beauty defensive plays by Luke Strueby at third base saved the no hitter. The offense was once again big as the boys had eleven hits with Cole Bauml and Dustin Emberley leading the way with two a piece.
Next action for the Royals is this weekend when the boys travel to Kenosee and Carlyle for their favourite weekend of the year - The Big Moose Tournament!!
