The Royals took on the Diggers on Wednesday night and dropped their first game of the year, 2-1. Colin Bauml threw four innings and Dean Jaeb threw the last two. The defence was strong behind the pitchers not making any errors. The bats were the story of this game as the Royals only managed four hits.
