Supers Draw First Blood

On Wednesday July 9, the Supers hosted game one of their quarter final playoff series with the Langenburg Indians. The game was tied at zero heading into the bottom of the fifth inning before the Supers put up four runs on route to a 4-0 victory.
Travis Fogg was the story of the game as he pitched seven scoreless innings to pick up the win, He gave up just five hits, zero walks and five strikeouts as he was in total command all night long.
The Supers offence remained in check most of the evening with the exception of the bottom of the fifth where they scored all four runs. After a Logan Parachoniak walk, singles by Colby Parachoniak, Zach Rakochy, Greg Andreychuk, and Travis Mentanko blew the game open. Rakochy had two singles to lead the way.
With the win, the Supers take a 1-0 series lead, and can clinch the series with a win on Monday, July 14 at 6:30 PM in Langenburg
