Winning streak snapped...

Posted July 22, 2014

The Outlaws took on the Dodgers on Monday night at the new and improved Leakos field.

Misskey took the mound and after a shaky first, settled in nicely and kept the Dodgers off balance for the next 3 innings. Ben B came in for the last three and pitched well but The Outlaw bats fell silent in the latter part of the game and could not muster a comeback. Donkey led the charge offensively hitting the ball hard all night, including a lead off triple and single. The end result was a 7 to 5 win for the Dodgers.

The loss snapped the Outlaws 5 game winning streak. Its now looking like she will be a tight battle for the 4th and final playoff spot with several teams either tied or within 2 points of each other. Every game from here on in will be important for alot of teams.

Next action is Tuesday night at 9 against the Stallions at Cairns. The boys will try and gain back some momemtum heading into this weekend in Kindersley.
