Former Bantam AAA Chuckers win BC Junior Premier Championship
Congratulations to the North Delta Jr Blue Jays who took home the JPBL Championship this past weekend with a 2-1 win over the North Shore Jr Twins. The Jr Jays feature five Bantam AAA Chuckers almuni: Marc Ashford, Mackenzie Marquis, Noah Or, Logan Newman and Zach Besler. Also rostered for the Jr Jays are former Bantam AA Chuckers Alex McRae and Joel Bourque.
This year's senior Blue Jays team also featured several Bantam AAA Chuckers alumni, including Tyler Hoefer, Kyle Lee, Jonathan Cote and Ryo Takenaka. Ryo had a solid senior campaign this year finishing third in the batting race (.368) and earning First-Team All Conference honors. Congrats to Ryo who's off to Mayville State University in North Dakota to play college baseball next season!
