Fairborn (Ohio) 69, McGill-Toolen 65: Slow third quarter costs Yellow Jackets

Logan Cooney scored 21 points and Harris Chambers added 12, but it was not enough as Class 7A No. 2 McGill-Toolen fell to Fairborn (Ohio), 69-65, in the fifth-place game at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Tournament at Disney World in Orlando.

The Yellow Jackets (14-3) led 35-34 at the half, but Fairborn had a 13-7 run in the third quarter to put the game away.

Jordan Pumiroy hit 21 points for the Skyhawks.
