McGill-Toolen 59, Spanish Fort 57: Yellow Jackets hold off Toros Get 20th Win

Class 7A No. 4 McGill-Toolen carried a 12-point lead into the final quarter, but had to hang on for a 59-57 victory over visiting Spanish Fort.

The Yellow Jackets held a 41-29 lead at the end of the third quarter, but the Toros stormed back with a 28-18 advantage in the fourth to put a scare in McGill. Spanish Fort was unavailable to tie or take the lead, enabling McGill to escape.

Paris Chambers scored 13 points, Charlie Ollis 12 and Marlon Williams 10 to lead Yellow Jackets (20-4).

Montrey Bishop had 17 points and LaDarrell Pettway 10 for Spanish Fort.
