Midgets & Bantams To Take Part in Best of the West This Weekend

This weekend, both the Midget AAA Royals and the Bantam AA Royals will travel to Kamloops to take part in the Best of the West tournament at MacArthur Island Sports Complex. Both teams will get their respective tournaments underway on Friday, with the Midgets playing a double-header against the Okanagan Jr Athletics (11:30am) and the North Shore Jr. Twins (4:30pm), while the Bantams will open up against the Prince George Knights at 4:00pm. On Saturday, the Midgets will battle the Calgary Blues at 9:00am, while the Bantams will play the Okotoks Dawgs (10:00am) and the White Rock Tritons (12:45pm). The semi-finals, finals, and consolation games for the 11-team Midget tournament will take place on Sunday, while the Bantam Royals will play in the semi-final of the four team Bantam tournament on Sunday morning at 10:00am, and either the final or 3rd place game at 12:45pm.
