Jays Senior Teams Finishes Second at Okotoks PG Super 25

The North Delta Blue Jays Senior team finished as Runner Up at the 2015 Perfect Game Super25 17/18U New Era Wood Bat Mother's Day Classic held in Okotoks, AB, May 7-10, 2015. This was the first ever Perfect Game tournament ever held in Canada and is a qualifier tournament for the 2014-2015 PG Super 25 National Championship. The Jays were the only team represented from BC in the ten team tournament which featured some of the top 17/18U teams from Alberta and Saskatchewan.

The Jays finished first in round robin pool play with a 3-1 record with wins over Okotoks Red (10-2), St. Albert (8-2) and Spruce Grove (6-5). The lone loss came at the hands of Vauxhall Academy (8-1). The Jays defeated Edmonton (3-1) in the semi final and then faced off against the undefeated Okotoks Black team in the final. The Jays lost a hard fought battle to Okotoks where the final score was 2-1.
