5/23/15: The Bandits opened up the Nations of Orlando "Memorial Day Madness" tournament with a 3-2 win vs the RBI Cudas. Lawrence Russo pitched a complete game for the win. Charlie Alfano slapped a 2 run double, and Tim McCue (2-2) scored the go ahead run on an error by the Cudas first baseman.
The Bandits dropped game two to the Premier Baseball Academy (PBA) of Orlando 9-7. Starter Marc Maschio pitched five innings allowing 5 runs, but reliever Cameron Quintana could not hold the lead giving up 4 runs in the sixth and the Bandit offense was not able to make up the difference. Leading hitters were Trevor Meaney (2-3, RBI), Charlie Alfano (2-3), and Marc Maschio (1-2, 2B, HBP, 3 RBI).
5/24/15: The Flagler Bandits were the second seeded team facing the third seeded Red Raiders - Silver team of Orlando. Trevor Meany was the starter and dropped a tough game due to some wildness and poor defense. Red Raiders won 5-3. Trevor was the only Bandit with two hits.
The Bandits decided not to play the 4th game due to the long wait for the consolation game. Next up for the Bandits May 30/31 "Empire Strikes Back" tournament in Orlando.
