DBacks' Split Squad Beats White Sox 8-3

Sticking with the theme of lefty-studs, the DBacks' sent younger brother of former DBack Garret Regan, Alex, to the mound.

Regan dealt the entire game, with 7 Ks, no walks and 1 ER.  Certainly a much better DBacks debut than his older brother, who K'd 4 times at the dish.

Justin Bryant got his first game off in 2 years.  He joined the rest of the old balls vets who can't seem to play two games in one day anymore.

Junior Nichols decided to show up, surprising everyone in the ballpark.  He went 2 for 4 as the DH, including a 3-0 knock.

SS Brendon Sutherland went 3 for 5 with a performance that would make the Energizer Bunny blush.

The supporting cast for the Dbacks played well offensively and defensively.  The vets would have been impressed if they weren't taking their mid-afternoon naps.

MVP
Alex Regan for reminding everyone what a good fast ball looks like.

Honorable Mention
The Wolfpack for being the drunkest team with the best heckles in Canada.

VAG
Jordan Wong for taking Regan home instead of out celebrating his first FMBA victory.
