DBacks Sweep Longhorns to Take First Place

Game 1 - 3-2 DBacks

Riley Schaff took the bump vs the predominately left-handed Longhorns lineup. Oddly, he doesn't balk in a run. That's new. Schaaf threw 7 strong with 5H, 1BB, and 8 Ks.
The Dbacks were driving the ball to the outfield well. JB hit a ball into the stratosphere that landed approximately 3 yards short of the fence straight away center for an out. Luckily, Trask channeled his inner SloPitch player and tagged up from second and scored.
Zanutto seems to have found his stroke, going 2-3 with a double.
Several Longhorns were spotted promoting breast cancer awareness. #PinkLidsForEveryone

Game 2 - 8-3 DBacks

With LHP Alex Regan deciding it's more fun to hit bombs in SloPitch than to buckle lefties all day, LF/CF/SS/1B James Trask had to make the emergency start.
"Flowbama" was magical on this day, tossing muffin after muffin and baffling the 'Horn's hitters. He thew the CG, giving up 6H, 3BB, with 5Ks, and in typical DBacks fashion, 0ER.
At one point, the 'Horns' Jared Albo threw his bat over the dugout swinging at strike three because he loves changeups so much. This promptly earned him the pink K-Lid.
Wong started at SS and made less errors than Sudsy, but more than Trask. The revolving door continues.
Gerwing goes 2-4 breaking his 0-for-1 million slump.
JB hits a triple and requests more SB opportunities.
Took first place with the sweep.
MVP - Coop for going 3-4 with 2 RBI
Honorable Mention - Wong for using 100% of his body weight and hitting a ball off the fence. Would have been a homerun had he ate a bigmac before the game. #HGH #DBALL #WINNY
Honorable Mention #2 - Joyce for giving the DBacks 3 outs over two games on baserunning mistakes.
Vag - Regan for deciding slo-pitch is more fun then sweeping the Longhorns.
