Withnell sweeps

Three Rivers completed their league series with the Dodgers with a doubleheader at Willamette University on Tuesday. Withnell won the 1st game 4-1 despite a complete game by North Bends Jon Bennison who gave up only 2 earned runs. The Sandblasters managed only 6 hits. In game 2 a lack of offensive production continued to plague Three Rivers in a 4-0 loss. Siuslaw's Ken Thrall was able to collect 2 of the Sandblasters 3 hits. Three Rivers used 4 pitchers to limit Salem to the 4 runs on 9 hits. The next game is a home doubleheader Friday starting at 3 PM against North Coos.
