Dbacks Get By Expos 4-2

CAIRNS FIELD, SK – After scoring 30 runs on 17 hits in a pair of victories over the Parkland Expos on the weekend, the Saskatoon Diamondbacks could only muster 4 runs on 8 hits in last night’s 4-2 victory over the Regina Expos. Shane Soderberg picked up a complete game victory going 7 innings giving up 5 hits, 2 earned runs, 3 walks and 9 k’s. Adam Sembalerus lead the offence going 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs. Alex Grenier and Carter Dahl were also 2 for 3 while Garrett Krawchuk and Tyler Schlichemeyer were 1 for 2. “It’s a good feeling when you win games like this" said DBacks manager Matt Kosteniuk. “We did everything right and we executed. We keep going and never give up. That’s the good thing about us right now.”
The Dbacks next action is Thursday at 6:30 pm when they host the Saskatoon Giants.
