Expos split in S'Toon

The Expos split a pair of games today in Saskatoon, losing the first game in an extra inning to the Cubs 4-3. But they bopunced back in the 2nd game to beat the Giants 5-4 and put an end to the 7 game slide they had been on.
Spencer Davis threw a complete game in the opener but ended up taking the loss. And Eric Appelquist threw an impressive 6 1/3 to get the win in the second game recording 8 strike-outs along the way. Dawson Wagner-Duff came in and earned the save by reecording the last two outs but not it wasn't easy.
Next Action is a double-header against the Cubs in Saskatoon on Sat. July 4th at Cairns field, game times are 4 and 7pm.
