Vermillion 6, Wynot 3
WYNOT, Neb. – Grant Lueders had three hits to lead the Vermillion Grey Sox past Wynot 6-3 in non-league amateur baseball action on Thursday.
Jay Thaler had two hits for Vermillion. Tanner Anderson, Jon Merrigan, Tyler Johnson and Deandre Fore each had a hit in the victory.
Scott Heimes and Danny Melina each had two hits for Wynot. Kyle Wiepen tripled. Chase Rolfes, Jackson Sudbeck, Scott Foxhoven and David Schenk each had a hit in the effort.
Mike Moran pitched six innings for the victory. Devon Lammers took the loss.
Vermillion travels to Dell Rapids PBR on Saturday. Wynot travels to Scotland on Sunday.
