Former Chuckers Heading to Toronto

Former Bantam AAA Chuckers Tyler Hoefer and Noah Or, now members of the North Delta Blue Jays of the BCPBL, are headed to Toronto to participate in the Toronto Blue Jays Tournament 12 event.
Hoefer, coming off his stellar mound peformance in the championship game at Canada Cup, will suit up for Team BC. Or, who played a pivotal role in Team BC's recent gold medal performance at the Western Canada Games, will play for the Futures squad.
The event is a showcase tournament with the top college eligible players in the country. Games are played at Rogers Centre during the week of September 14-18.
In addition the North Delta Blue Jays handed out their 2015 awards and several former Bantam AAA Chuckers went home with hardware. Alex Dawson was named Most Improved Player for the Junior Blue Jays, while Logan Newman won the same award for the Senior team. Or took home the Rookie-of-the-Year award, and Mackenzie Marquis was named MVP.
