It's All Over! Champions!!!!

Now that the partying has died down, it's time to update the site.  On Sunday, 27-Sep-15, The Ottawa Expos eliminated the Sweatsox in game 4 by a score of 7-0 to complete the unbelievable championship run.  3-hit complete game by Dave Barnes, clutch hitting by all involved, the final game was the icing on the cake.  Congratulations to all involved, hope to see you all back next year.

"Congratulations to the Ottawa Expos on their first ever NCBL Championship. I am impressed in the way we won this championship. In the way we went from a .500 team last year to a team that played for each other in 2015. Wins in every way. Comebacks, 2 out runs, walk offs and dominance. I've won 4 championships in this league. Each one special for its own reason. This version is one more example of the way a team comes together and plays for each other selflessly. And the proof that unselfish play breeds championships. Oh yeah, and that the vet's playoff beard may or may not have had some impact. Too many moments to lost and stories to tell in this season. Congrats boys. Proud of each of your contributions. The sum of all parts is greater than the sum of individuals. "
