Greysox Over Beresford

The Vermillion Greysox used a pair of veterans to help earn their second league vitcory of the season.

Crafty left handed pitching Jon Merrigan earned a complete game win, notching seven strikeouts, 10 assists, while not walking a batter all game and only allowing two earned runs.  Merrigan's defense on the mound was spectacular all night, many time drawing cheers from the home town crowd with some amazing moves to help his cause.

Fresh off a college stint, catcher Jay Thaler ripped three hits on the night and recorded three RBI to help the Greys offensively.
