Dbacks take 2 to sweep A's

The Dbacks came out hot and stayed hot most of the day beating the A’s 6-4 and 11-4 to sweep the weekend series.  Nolan Machibroda started game 1 going 5.1 innings allowing 5 hits, 4 earned runs with 3 BB’s and 7 K’s.  Bryce Libke came in to give up 2 BB’s. Tyler Schlichemeyer got the save throwing 1.2 innings allowing 0 hits, 1BB and 3 K’s.  Offensively, the Dbacks were led by Ryan Crilly who was 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.  Jayden McKim was 2 for 3 while Nolan Machibroda and Garrett Krawchuk were 2 for 4.Jared Thompson rounded out the offence going 1 for 3 with an RBI.

Game 2 saw Alex Grenier start going 5 innings allowing 5 hits, 3 runs with 3 BB’s and 3 K’s.  Ryan Olchoway threw the final 2 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 earned runs with 0 BB’s and 3 Ks.  Offensively, the Dbacks were led by Tyrone Polson who was 4 for 4 with 2 RBIs.  Eric Trakalo was 2 for 4. Garrett Krawchuk, Nolan Machibroda, Tyler Schlichemeyer and Zak Krysak were 1 for 4.  Ryan Olchoway was 1 for 5 with an RBI and Matt Scott was 1 for 2 with an RBI.  

The Dbacks play the Giants at 9:00 pm tomorrow.
