Royals Split
Posted July 18, 2016
The Royals split their doubleheader again on Thursday in Saskatoon. They beat the Stallions 10-1 in game one behind a great complete game from Carter Frerichs. The defence didn't make an error and the boys pounded out 13 hits in the win. The next game saw the Royals lose 10-2 to the Dodgers. The Dodgers jumped out to a 4-0 lead and never looked back. Paul Strueby and Nick Anderson threw for the Royals and got zero help from our defence as we made five errors. The bats were quiet as well with only 7 hits. Next action for the Royals in Monday, July 18th when the Royals play the Outlaws in a doubleheader in Saskatoon.
