Supers Back in "W" Column

Ryan Coleman's breakthrough game couldn't have come at a better time, as the Supers halted their 3 game losing streak by defeating the Swan River Reds 10-2 in Canora. Coleman was 2 for 3 at the plate with a double, 2 runs scored and 5 rbi's. Not a bad day at the office to say the least. Player of the game indeed.
Tom Cook had another productive day at the dish, going 2 for 3 with a walk and 3 runs scored. Russ Sarauer was 1 for 2 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored. Carson Dennis contributed with a 2 rbi single in the bottom of the 3rd and a run scored, while Travis Fogg was 1 for 3 with an rbi.
Derek Palagian started the game on the mound, tossing 4 innings to pick up the win. He recorded 7 strikeouts while giving up 1 earned run. He also scored 2 runs to contribute offensively while drawing 2 walks. Travis Fogg pitched the final 3 innings to record the save, giving up no runs while striking out 4 Reds hitters.
The Supers record improves to 2 wins and 3 losses, and thier next game is on Friday, June 4 as they host the Melville Bison at Al Sapieha Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6:15 SHARP.
