Matthew McNeece had a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds as McGill-Toolen edged Class 7A rival Theodore 45-40 on Monday, giving coach Phillip Murphy his 200th win at the school.

Cameron Preston led the Bobcats with 15.

Murphy, in his 10th year with the Yellow Jackets, led his team to its first Class 7A state title last season. He was named the Coastal Alabama Coach of the Year and the state Coach of the Year in Class 7A.

The Yellow Jackets (5-4) host Baldwin County on Friday.
