SEEBA Remembers Founding Member

It is with deep sadness that we note of the passing of Peter deVries, one of the founding members of the South Edmonton Elite Baseball Association (SEEBA). Peter was passionate about baseball in particular and was an active volunteer in the south east baseball community and amateur baseball for well over 20 years. His passion and dedication to the sport was recognized by SEEBA with the naming of their annual Peter deVries Midget Invitational Tournament in his name. And in keeping with the spirit of his commitment to amateur baseball, the deVries family has kindly asked that in lieu of other tributes, donations be made to SEEBA in his name. The SEEBA baseball community thanks Peter and his family for everything they have done for this organization and we pass on our best wishes, condolences and gratitude to them all.
