Jena Cozza Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts softball redshirt sophomore Jena Cozza was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Cozza hit .588 in the team & #8217;s five games, highlighted by two home runs and three doubles. She also scored seven runs and drove in four Minutewomen runners over her 19 plate appearances.
The Minutewomen went 4-1 over the course of last week, sweeping Rhode Island in a doubleheader on Wednesday and then taking two-of-three from St. Bonaventure over the weekend.
The Minutewomen are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Storrs, Conn. to take on the Connecticut Huskies. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
