Off to Round Two

On Friday July 14 the Supers finished off their playoff series vs the Roblin Stars in two straight with a convincing 21-6 victory. The offence was able to put up a crooked number on the scoreboard in each inning while the pitching and defence did their part to keep the game out of reach.

Seven Supers had multi hit games including Logan Parachoniak with a home run and three rbi. Travis Mentanko, Greg Andreychuk, Brogan Legebokoff, Terry Cumming, Clint Maduck, and Adam Korb each had two hits.

Parachoniak started on the hill and went four innings to pick up the win. He gave up just one hit, two walks and three runs (one earned) with six strikeouts. Darcy Blommaert finished the game off allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and two strikeouts.

The defence played well committing only one error on the evening. With the win the Supers face the Langenburg Indians in round two of playoffs in a best of three series. The schedule for the series is as follows:
