Saskatchewan 4 Québec 2 - Garrett Hawkins and Logan Hofmann combined to limit Québec to just four hits while Tyler McWillie drove in three runs as Saskatchewan earned a 4-2 win. Québec opened three scoring with a run in the top of the first but Saskatchewan answered back with three in the bottom half including McWillie connecting on a two-run double. Québec's Martin Vincelli Simard had two hits and one RBI in the loss.
Alberta 6 Saskatchewan 2 - Cesar Valero belted a two run homer as Alberta capped a two-win day with a 6-2 victory over Saskatchewan to move to 4-1 and grab possession of first place in Pool A. Matthew Coutney kept his strong tournament going with three RBI inlcuding a two-run single in the fourth while Chase Florendine went 6.2 innings on the mound to record the win.
