Doubleheader Split Senior Jena Cozza tallied seven RBI on the day, hitting two home runs with six RBI in an 11-3 win over Monmouth.
MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – Jena Cozza drove in seven runs, including six in the final game of the afternoon as the University of Massachusetts softball team split a pair of contests on day one of the EMU Madeira Beach invitational. The Minutewomen (2-4 Overall) offense came alive in the second game of the day, racking up 11 runs on 10 hits in an 11-3 5-inning win over Monmouth after dropping the opening game of the day to UNC Greensboro, 5-2.
