Kristin Hallam Named CAA Player Of The Week

Sophomore Kristin Hallam of the Hofstra Softball team was named Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week after an impressive weekend at the plate, helping the Pride go 4-0 in the St. John's Invitational.
She batted .727 on the weekend, reaching base in 12 consecutive plate appearances. She was 3-for-3 in a 2-0 win against UMASS on Saturday before going 4-for-4, including a leadoff home run, in a 10-6 win over St. John's on Sunday. Hallam finished the weekend with eight hits, a home run, two doubles, four runs, four RBIs, two stolen bases and three walks. The weekly honor was Hallam's first of the season, while the Pride has earned an award in each of the weeks the team has been in action this season.
