That be a STRIKE and a SWEEP!

This past weekend saw the Tri-City Thunder making a quick 2 day stopover in Kamloops

and Kelowna for a pair of double headers.. fortunately for the teams the weather mostly

co-operated and the Thunder managed to pull off a clean sweep of the interior teams which

is the first time this has been done under the coaching eye of JJ Hyde.

The two Kamloops games were very tightly contested pitching duels with only 6 runs being

scored.. the Kelowna games garnered a different result with the Thunder sticks finally coming

alive to score a total of 21 runs across the two games.. defensive errors did cost the Thunder

several un-earned runs but they hung on to record the Ws.

Congradulations to the team and coaching staff for keeping the foot on the gas!!
