UMASS Senior Jena Cozza was named the Player of the Week for the third time this season

Cozza (Wantagh, N.Y.) earned her fourth Player of the Week award this season after a .545 showing at the plate to go along with five RBI and three home runs. Cozza scored seven runs in the six games, including three against Fordham in a game one where she added a home run and a double with three walks. The senior homered in all three games against the Rams, going yard again in game two to go along with a walk. Cozza's third long ball of the weekend helped spark a five-run fifth-inning for the Minutewomen as they rallied back from down three runs to secure their first A-10 regular-season title since 2012.
