Outlaws offensive woes continue
Posted June 12, 2018
The Outlaws took on the Dodgers Monday night ,in hopes of getting back on the winning track.
It was a soggy night at Cairns, which could make for some interesting baseball, however both teams played relatively solid D considering the conditions.
Marco got the start and gave up 3 in the first, but settled in nicely after that pitching 6 strong. Bess came in for the 7th and made quick work of the Dodger bats.
But, as has been the theme to this point in the year, the Outlaw bats were once again quiet, managing only a handful of hits and 2 runs off a Lindberg 2 RBI single.
Hats off to Parker Bessel who went the distance for the Dodgers for the 4-2 win.
The Outlaws are back in action this weekend for the annual Father’s day tournament.
Game times for the weekend are as follows.
Friday June 15 at 6:30- Cairns

Sunday June 17th at 9:00 AM – Cairns
Top teams in each pool will play for the final at 4:30 on Sunday at Cairns.
