Outlaws beat Guns 10- 4

The Outlaws were back in action on Thursday night against the Guns.
The Guns got out to a quick 1-0 lead, however the Outlaws responded over the next few innings, taking a 6-1 lead into the 6th.
Outlaws starting pitcher Shane Gimas went 6 innings, running out of gas near the end, and the Guns closed the gap to 6-4. However in the top of 7, the boys rallied and put up 4 more to take a 10-4 lead.
Jordan Sass came in for the bottom of the 7th to shut the door, and had a 3 up , 3 down inning to preserve the win for the Outlaws.
The offense was solid all night for the Outlaws, led by Sassafras with a 2 run bomb and a double, and Chace Davidson going 2 for 2. All in all ,the bats looked good throughout the lineup.
The win moves the Outlaws to 2-5 in the regular season.
Next action is Friday June 22 against the Hoppers at 6:30 –Cairns field.
