Kenosee Big Moose Tournament 2018

Stallions started off the Big Moose with a victory against Beulah. Brooks picking up the victory. Pick up Boyd Forseth  from Weyburn, our player of the game,went 4-5 hitting 4 doubles. Not bad for a slo pitch player. We scored a bunch in the 7th inning to put the game away by 2 touchdowns. Game 2 had us playing Estevan with Lee Connell taking the hill.  Lee struggled early but finished throwing a complete game. The Stallions lost the game on a bad call by blue which took us out of a VERY promising inning. We ended up losing by 1 run.  Game 3 against the favored SC Yardgoats.  Mike Rotchell took the bump and threw a complete game. We gave up 2 runs on an error in the last inning and lost by 1 run. Fun was held by all.

In the home run Derby, Stallions Dalton Wells and Jon Nueberger made the final round of 4 with Brooks pitching to both. In the end Nueberger won the competition hitting 4 bombs in the final round putting $260 in his pocket.To make the evening even sweeter, the team bought Jon at the calcutta taking home $585 on their $200 investment. Needless to say they celebrated the victory with a few pops.
