Marysburg snaps Outlaws 11 game winning streak

The Outlaws carried an 11 game win streak into Monday night’s tilt with the top team in the league, the Marysburg Royals.
Marco got the start on the bump and had a clean first inning. The Outlaws responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the first to take an early lead.
In the top of the second the Marysburg bats came alive and they put up 4 runs to take the lead. The Outlaws responded with 3 more in the bottom half and led 6 to 4 after 2.
In the top of the 3rd, after 2 quick outs, Marysburg put together a 2 out rally and scored 5 runs to take a 9 to 6 lead. Outlaws got 1 back to trail 9- 7 after 3.
Marysburg added another in the top of 4 to make it 10- 7, which it stayed till the bottom of 7.
The Morari brothers and Brody started the inning off with 3 straight singles, cutting the deficit to 10- 8. The Outlaws added another to make it 10 -9 with 2 out and runners on 1st and 3rd.
Puetzy won the battle with Sass, and secured the victory for the Royals, snapping the Outlaws winning streak at 11.
The boys look to get back on the winning track again on Tuesday , when they take on the Stallions at 6:30 at Cairns field.
